About Tan Sangmanee

If you’re on this page, you must be thinking…”I wonder what this guy is all about” (obviously). Hi there, I’m Tan Sangmanee. I’m a sound designer, editor, mixer, production coordinator, and artist who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Production (majoring in Sound Design) from the California Institute of the Arts. My background consists of six years of experience as an Audio and Video Technician, two years of know-how as a production/event coordinator, and four years of hands-on experience in guest services.

This website’s purpose is to encapsulate all my past relevant work and showcase my portfolio as I continue to advance my career in the years to come. The central question I ask of myself through my work is, “How can I carry out a design in a narrative to help cultivate stories?”

Originally from the Coachella Valley, I’m a Los Angeles native who strives to help companies execute their creative projects so that they can deliver innovative and strategic content to clients. As a resourceful engineer with a background in sound design and video production, my work consists within the technical fields of theater, animation, television, film, music, and live entertainment.

As for my future, I hope to one day work in a producing aspect with a diverse team of experienced individuals. Whether as a Project Manager, Event Manager, or Production Manager, I am focused on serving clients with their events in order to provide a fantastic guest experience.
